Summary:

The Inside Sales position is responsible for supporting our Pedestrian, Industrial, Vehicle and Security segment customers in Northwest Region. Success will be based on the effectiveness of this role to achieve our vision of continued growth and provide an amazing customer experience. This position is required to work in a cross-functional environment between various internal departments (including but not limited to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Codes and Standards, Quality, Procurement and Finance) and has the responsibility to align functional resources to achieve targeted strategies, objectives, and financial results. The Inside Sales Representative will also be an Ideal Team Player who supports our mission to build a convenient, safe, automated world and works to achieve our vision of continued growth and market expansion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and cultivate partnerships with distribution accounts.
  • Achieve quarterly sales goals on behalf of the region teaming with the Outside Sales Representative.
  • Ability to clearly communicate all features and benefits associated with BEA products to all distribution accounts.
  • Report results on account growth, sales goals, customer experience and quarterly initiatives.
  • Analyze customer feedback and implement programs to improve the customer experience.
  • Provide support to Outside Sales Representative with order management, coordination of visits and interdepartmental follow up.
  • Perform daily customer contact goals defined by the Sales Operations Manager.
  • Project manage key priorities on behalf of the region.
  • Utilize CRM to manage customer information and Interaction.

Sales Region Coverage:

US: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Northern California, Neveda, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming CANADA: Alberta, British Colombia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, Yukon

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in business to business
  • Technical selling experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel 1-2 times per year.
  • Ideal Team Player mentality with excellent leadership and collaborative skills and proven success on a team.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers at various levels.
  • Proven track record of successful business planning and growth that align with quota goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite of products, including Dynamics.
