Description
Laurel Parc, a beautiful senior living community just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area seeks a Scheduling Coordinator to join the assisted living team! This position will be responsible for managing caregiver and medication assistant schedules, answering calls, and supporting daily operations. This role requires flexibility, caregiver and med tech training, and strong communication skills.
Schedule: On-call availability required
Pay: $26.00 - $26.50 per hour
Shift: Full-time
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintains schedule for medication assistants and caregivers.
- Answer assisted living phone and process calls.
- Be qualified and trained both as a caregiver and medication technician.
- Be flexible and able to work as a caregiver and medication technician on all three shifts when needed.
- Assists the Associate Executive Director and Resident Care Coordinators with projects that are requested timely and efficiently.
- Completes assisted living and memory care medication room and medication cart audits and monitors for proper storage of medications and expiration dates.
- Prepares blank resident charts for new move-ins and enters new resident data.
- Assists with department specific new-hire orientation including hands on med tech and care giver training as requested.
- Assures medications are ordered timely and properly documented per physician orders when working as a medication technician.
- Maintains all privacy rules and regulations pertaining to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Displays excellent communication including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One year recent experience as a Medication Assistant required

Language Requirement
All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
