Description
Purpose: Actively promotes a work environment within the Credit Department that consistently delivers a “World Class Experience” to the Lauren Concrete customers. Responsible for participating in the credit and collections processes to ensure smooth and efficient operation of our financial department. This position provides clerical and administrative support for the Credit Department, assisting in reconciliations, data analysis, customer service with credit account management, and internal coordination. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
Supervisory Functions
- No supervisory responsibilities
Job-Specific Functions
- Assist in the credit and collections process including contacting customer for payment, processing payments, and posting payments to accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer information and records
- Perform account reconciliations
- Resolve customer issues by coordinating with the Lauren Concrete internal team.
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/payments/deliveries
- Ensure that all credit and collections policies and procedures are followed and updated as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data
- Support additional administrative tasks and special projects as required.
Other Functions

- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Collections experience is preferred but not required
- Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing priorities as business levels dictate
- This is an in-office, non-remote position
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma required
- One to three years of similar or related experience preferred
- Some college in a business or finance related field preferred
