Join Our Team as an Insurance Customer Relations Specialist!
We're excited to welcome a new member to our team as an Insurance Customer Relations Specialist. This position offers a set schedule with a fixed number of hours per week, ranging from 20 to 30 hours, with the potential for increased hours in the future. Your workdays will span Monday-Friday, between the hours of 10:00 am and 4:30 pm, with the potential for additional hours between 8:00 am and 10:00 am when needed. This is an in-office position only. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, complemented by benefits like paid vacation and holidays. This is a long-term opportunity designed to offer ample room for growth. Responsibilities at a Glance:
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Provide exceptional client support and communication
- Handle client inquiries and correspondence with care
- Manage incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency
- Keep track of pending client requests and ensure follow-ups are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, payments, and policy updates
- Coordinate and schedule client appointments seamlessly
- Process payments accurately and promptly
- Assist with policy documentation and processing
- Maintain and engage with our social media platforms
- Assist in keeping our office space tidy and organized
Essential Criteria:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess a minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Successfully pass a background check
- Have reliable transportation for commuting
- Have at least some related experience in an office setting or in the insurance industry.
- Hold a valid WA license for Property and Casualty Insurance or be willing to obtain one before starting. If unlicensed, we cover the costs of the required online course and the first attempt at state testing, with an agreement of reimbursement if employment ends prior to 6 months after start date.
Preferred Criteria:
- Active P&C insurance license
- Experience in customer service
- Previous office experience
- Background in sales
