Human Resource Manager

Position Summary
This position is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of employee-related initiatives at Lauren International and Lauren’s approximately 75 employees across the company’s six operating divisions in Ohio – currently Stow, Canton, Minerva, Dennison (2) and New Philadelphia.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Identify and lead efforts to fulfill and improve all aspects of divisional human resource needs to ensure productive, engaging, fun working environment. * Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions. * Create and oversee an onboarding process for new employees. * Develop and implement employee training programs. * Build employee recognition and incentive programs. * Manage performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback to employees. * Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. * Manage compensation strategy based on market research and relevant surveys. * Serve as the key management member to align HR goals and employee related needs with business initiatives. * Work with the divisional managers and staff to improve processes, address concerns and keep open lines of communication as it relates to Lauren International employees. * Actively participate in strategic planning activities and provide insight to executive management on how changes will impact employees. * Actively visit all Lauren International divisions on a regular basis. * Assist in preparation for Lauren International events, such as board meetings, shareholder meetings, group training. * And more!
Are you up for the challenge? Here are qualifications we are searching for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources preferred. * 3 years of human resources experience as Human Resources Generalist, Specialist or comparable experience preferred. * Knowledge of employment laws; familiarity with labor laws, regulations and compliance requirements is essential. * Leadership experience in coaching a management team is preferred. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with all levels of employees – both orally and in writing. * Ability to drive performance and hold others accountable in a team environment. * Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification is a plus.
