Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Operator I to join our team at Lauridsen Group, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality product is made while promoting safety and maintaining a sanitary food environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment under the supervision of the shift supervisor.
- Monitor product volume, temperatures, times, and pressure readings.
- Record information as needed and ensure all charts are properly documented according to company and regulatory regulations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and general housekeeping of production areas.
Requirements:
- Ability to prepare and operate all packaging machinery.
- General knowledge of production/manufacturing methods.
- Ability to read gauges and record data in a legible manner and in accordance with established procedures.
- Must be able to perform basic math skills and remain calm and professional during peak periods.
