Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sales & Event Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events ranging from social (including weddings)/corporate , food truck weekends and specialty dinners. This role requires strong sales and detail/follow-through skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Duties:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including rentals, service staffing, catering arrangements, and event logistics
- Develop event timelines and budgets to ensure successful execution
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all event requirements are met
- Market events to target audiences through various channels and coordinate reservations
- Communicate event details to attendees and staff
- Manage event registration processes and handle attendee inquiries
- Oversee event setup and teardown, ensuring all elements are in place
- Coordinate with Laurita Inn (B&B) hospitality partner for accommodation arrangements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event planning and management
- Strong negotiation skills for securing contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Knowledge of catering arrangements and menu selection
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors , and team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using event management software or tools and Windows suite
- Experience in the catering, hotel, restaurant, hospitality industry

Pay: $59,330.00 - $66,292.00 per year
