Position Overview:
Laut Design, a dynamic and innovative industrial design and branding firm, is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of design projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. As a strategic thinker and problem-solver, you will manage timelines, budgets, and resources while facilitating communication between cross-functional teams and clients. Acting as a critical liaison, you will ensure that projects progress smoothly from concept to completion, consistently exceeding client expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Project Initiation & Planning:
- Facilitate communication between business development and design teams to ensure smooth project kickoffs.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with design teams to define project scope, milestones, and success criteria.
Client Engagement:
- Build strong client relationships by understanding their needs and expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring their needs are met, providing regular updates, and managing expectations.
Execution & Coordination:
- Manage project budgets by tracking expenses, forecasting resource needs, and making adjustments to timelines and allocations to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Coordinate with external vendors or consultants, including sourcing, managing contracts, and approving invoices.
- Use project management software to track progress, adjust timelines, and log team hours.
- Act as the primary liaison for project details, providing updates on progress, budget, invoicing, and any necessary timeline adjustments.
Monitoring & Risk Management:
- Monitor and adjust project timelines, proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to avoid delays and maintain high-quality outcomes.
- Implement project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve efficiency and project outcomes.
Quality Assurance & Closure:
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the firm’s and clients’ quality standards, conducting regular reviews and evaluations of work.
