Job Overview
Lavazza North America is embarking on a growth plan to substantially expand our market share in the Americas. As part of this growth plan, a large focus will be on our Office Coffee Sales channel, optimizing our relationships with key distributors. Along with offering a best-in-class range of solutions for the market, Lavazza is expanding our Sales team into new territories to best support this strategic business initiative.
At Lavazza North America, the Financial Analyst – Marketing and R&D position supports Lavazza North America’s finance team by ensuring the proper budgeting, forecasting, and tracking for the local Marketing and R&D department expenses.
Location: West Chester, PA
Job Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Marketing and R&D department to develop and manage local budget and forecasts.
- Manage Pre/Post evaluate performance marketing initiatives (ROI).
- Track and analyze R&D expenditures across projects.
- Partner with R&D leaders to understand variance vs budget and forecast.
- Create monthly dashboards and reports to track marketing expenses.
- Partner with marketing leaders to understand variance vs budget and forecast.
- Manage monthly and yearly accrual accuracy in partnership with accounting team.
- Partner with R&D leaders to understand project timelines and funding requirements.
- Ad hoc special projects as needed to support business needs.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 2-3 years’ experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or data analytics.
- CPG experience preferred.
- Intermediate/Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PPT) required.
- SAP ECC and/or Salesforce experience a plus.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively learn new technology (Proprietary Lavazza tools).
- High attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize.
- Highly agile and thrives in a fast paced working environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Highly organized and strong project management skills.
- Strong collaboration and with the ability to work well cross functionally with all levels of the organization - peers to Executives.
- Travel (<10% per year).
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite at our West Chester, PA site and 2 days remote.
