What Your Day-to-day Looks Like
- Identify and promote process improvements and enhancements to increase quality of work products, drive standardization, and improve manufacturability.
- Function as technical Lead for I&C systems, specifically in NSSS, Feed Water, TCS and other nuclear plant systems.
- Collaborating with Management, Engineers, and Stakeholders to gain process alignment.
- Effectively leading activities and teams of engineers.
- Ensure that hardware & software designs and project documentation meet applicable system & quality requirements.
- Work closely with manufacturing operations to resolve issues, provide oversight, and ensure products are in accordance with build-to-print drawing packages and specifications.
- Support resolution of technical issues including obsolescence.
- Facilitate cross-discipline coordination for both technical and schedule related issues.
- Effectively leading activities and teams of engineers.

What we’d like to see from you:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Engineering (Electrical or Computer), Computer Science, Information Sciences and Technology, Cyber Security / Information Assurance, or similar or equivalent from Accredited ABET School
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial nuclear industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Experience leading and directing medium to high complexity projects to successful completion.
- Advanced people skills such as effective verbal and written communications, ability to lead and direct complex team structures, able to develop relationships with stakeholders in upper management positions, able to analyze problems, establish facts, and make complex decisions with little to no supervision.
- Extremely familiar with the AP1000 project, processes, and procedures.
- Has ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas and is able to drive and motivate a team to reach a common goal.
- Knowledge and experience in I&C systems, specifically in NSSS, Feed Water, TCS and other nuclear plant systems are preferred but not required.
- Knowledge and experience in Ovation (Emerson) Platform are preferred but not required.
- Experience with developing engineering deliverables
- Experience with developing Engineering Processes and Procedures using formal commercial nuclear processes.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
- Experience with communicating with and escalating to management personnel to gain results
