What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Law Firm of Nonna Shikh, P.C?
Growing Bronx office for Personal Injury law firm is looking for an experienced paralegal to become a part of our team.
Requirements:
3 or more years of general litigation experience required;
Excellent proofreading, spelling and grammar skills;
Must be detail oriented and possess superior organizational skills;
Ability to communicate effectively; and
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and meet all deadlines.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Must have experience with daily court calendar for the firm - including all appearances, conferences, mediations, trials, etc. Schedule and confirm depositions, court reporters, and translators with staff, clients and other counsel. Schedule and make other arrangements for clients to attend all necessary hearings, doctor appointments, and exams. Knowledge of Court Calendar.
Prepare correspondence and legal documents;
Draft Bills of Particulars, Respond to discovery demands and draft Summons & Complaints;
Communicate with clients, counsel, courts etc.
Spanish Speaking a plus.
