Are you a talented labor and employment defense attorney seeking a dynamic and supportive environment to grow your career? We are looking for an experienced attorney to join our team and contribute to the success of a collaborative and highly skilled group.

About the Role:

In this role, you will work primarily on class action and PAGA cases, managing a caseload in close collaboration with a team of 2-3 senior attorneys. As part of a forward-thinking firm, you'll be a part of an inclusive and innovative work culture, focused on producing high-quality results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload involving class actions and PAGA claims
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize, draft, and implement case tactics
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff
• Conduct legal research, write briefs, and draft motions
• Engage in client meetings and manage client expectations
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and arbitrations
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and deadlines

Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of labor and employment defense experience, specifically in class actions and PAGA
• Strong experience with California employment law
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small team of attorneys
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation with minimal supervision
• A client-first attitude with a focus on providing innovative legal solutions
