Are you a talented labor and employment defense attorney seeking a dynamic and supportive environment to grow your career? Join a female-led department with an established track record of success in class action and PAGA litigation. We are looking for an experienced attorney to join our team and contribute to the success of a collaborative and highly skilled group.
About the Role:
In this role, you will work primarily on class action and PAGA cases, managing a caseload in close collaboration with a team of 2-3 senior attorneys. As part of a forward-thinking firm, you'll be a part of an inclusive and innovative work culture, focused on producing high-quality results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload involving class actions and PAGA claims
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize, draft, and implement case tactics
- Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff
- Conduct legal research, write briefs, and draft motions
- Engage in client meetings and manage client expectations
- Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and arbitrations
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards and deadlines
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of labor and employment defense experience, specifically in class actions and PAGA
- Strong experience with California employment law
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team of attorneys
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation with minimal supervision
- A client-first attitude with a focus on providing innovative legal solutions
Compensation and Benefits:
