What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vehicle Title clerk and processor position at Law Messenger?
We're immediately hiring for an auto title clerk position. No experience needed but preferred to have knowledge in the car industry or Notary. Job Responsibilities:
- Process titles and registration for customers and dealers
- Assign titles for vehicles sold
- Verify accuracy of title and related documents
- Resolve titling, odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc. issues with appropriate dealership personnel and/or state agencies
- Maintain knowledge of current laws and regulations related to titling of vehicles
- Ability to process title applications using current dealership software programs
- Complete training as required by the state to process titles
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Must be able to work one to two Saturdays a month.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized and eagerness to improve
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
- Computer literacy, quality writing and grammar skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks easily
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
