Job Description
We are a family law firm seeking an on-site Family Law Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs and to assist the paralegals in responding to the required initial disclosures, Inventory & Appraisement on all cases, including responding to or requesting interrogatories; request for production, request for admissions. Will be meeting with clients to retrieve supporting documents, or emails; organize and categorize; scan to folder. Calendar receipt and due dates. 1-2 years experience is preferred but not required.

- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and store client information
- Previous experience as a legal assistant or other legal field
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
