Job Title: Paralegal / Office Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Paralegal/Office Assistant. Key Responsibilities:
Paralegal Duties:
-Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation.
-Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
-Assist in preparing and filing legal documents with courts and agencies.
-Manage case files, ensuring all documents are organized and up to date.
-Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
-Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and outside counsel as needed.
Office Assistant Duties:
-Perform general office administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
-Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
-Maintain office supplies, organize records, and ensure a clean and efficient workspace.
-Assist with data entry, report generation, and maintaining accurate records.
-Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and task completion.
Qualifications and Skills:
-Proven ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
-Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Proficiency office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
-Prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or office assistant is not necessary.
Associate's degree or paralegal certification is a plus, but NOT REQUIRED.
