Receptionist / Office Assistant -
Our very busy law firm is hiring a part-time Receptionist / Office Assistant to help answer our calls and provide general office assistance. You will answer calls from clients, potential clients, attorneys, and the Court and will direct the callers to the appropriate person. Some travel will be required between offices as needed.
In addition to answering and processing telephone calls, the Receptionist/Office Assistant is responsible for:
- Making outbound telephone calls to clients and vendors upon team member’s request;
- Processing incoming mail and documents;
- Filing and scanning of legal documents;
- Scheduling Zoom meetings and coordinating the meeting by email with clients;
- Opening new client files;
- Organizing office supplies and ensure our reception area and meeting areas are neat, clean of debris, and presentable for all meetings;
- Receiving and sending packages;
- Running general office errands.
Personal qualities, experience and skills required:
- FRIENDLY and CARING! We want every client who calls our office to know, from the very first call, how much our team cares
- Must have reliable transportation
- **1-3 YEARS OFFICE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST** Law Firm experience is desired.
- Excellent telephone and customer/client service skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products
