Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client needs.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions with precision and clarity.
- Assist senior attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation throughout the legal process.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
- Collaborate with team members on pending cases; case law.
- Utilize legal research tools such as Westlaw to gather relevant information for cases.
Skills
- Proficiency in legal drafting and research methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Civil litigation.
- Familiarity with Court rules a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and colleagues professionally.
- Experience with legal administrative tasks is beneficial.
