The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC are in search of a meticulous and organized Accounting Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and assist the Controller in processing invoices, and supporting the overall accounting functions of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Provide administrative support to the Controller.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in month-end close activities.
- Assist with payroll processing as needed.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for review by management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of cost accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Compensation: Hourly pay starting at $25.00 but is negotiable, depending on experience.
