Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Employment-Based Immigration Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for employment-based immigration law, exceptional legal expertise, and the ability to excel in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to handle diverse employment-based cases, develop your expertise, and contribute to a thriving practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a wide range of employment-based immigration matters, including but not limited to H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2, EB-1, EB-2, PERM labor certifications, and NIWs.
- Advise employers and employees on visa options, compliance issues, and strategy.
- Prepare and file petitions, applications, and supporting documents with USCIS, DOL, and other relevant agencies.
- Provide clients with clear legal advice on complex immigration matters and ensure they understand their rights and options.
- Monitor and manage deadlines for a high-volume caseload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Stay current with changes in employment-based immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions tailored to client needs.
- Participate in firm-wide training programs to advance knowledge and expertise in immigration law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in any state (New York Bar preferred).
- Prior experience in employment-based immigration law is preferred;
- Motivated new attorneys are encouraged to apply.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality legal representation and maintaining the firm's standards of excellence.
