Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Family-Based Immigration Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for family-based immigration law, exceptional legal expertise, and the ability to excel in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to handle diverse family-based cases, develop your expertise, and make a meaningful impact on clients' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a wide range of family-based immigration matters, including but not limited to adjustment of status, consular processing, I-130 petitions, K-1 visas, and waivers of inadmissibility.
- Provide legal guidance on the petition process for immediate relatives, spouses, parents, and children.
- Prepare and file petitions, applications, and supporting documents with USCIS, NVC, and other relevant agencies.
- Represent clients during USCIS interviews and in complex family-based immigration scenarios.
- Monitor and manage deadlines for a high-volume caseload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Stay current with changes in family-based immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions tailored to client needs.
- Participate in firm-wide training programs to advance knowledge and expertise in immigration law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in any state (New York Bar preferred).
- Prior experience in family-based immigration law is preferred; motivated new attorneys are encouraged to apply.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
