Corporate Law Associate – Northern Virginia Law Firm
Rees Broome, P.C., a Top 20 law firm in Virginia, is actively recruiting an associate with 3-5 years of corporate law experience to join the corporate practice group in our Tysons Corner, Virginia office. Demonstrated interest in employment law is highly preferred—either prior experience or a strong desire to learn and practice in this area.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel and representation to corporate clients in operational, transactional and compliance matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of business contracts and agreements.
Advise clients on business entity formation, governance, mergers, and acquisitions.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, memoranda, and opinions.
Draft formation documents, equity agreements, and resolutions
Assist with employment law matters, including compliance, drafting and reviewing policies, and counseling.
Assist in due diligence, including gathering and review of documents, responding to questions.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing high-quality, responsive legal services.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Virginia (Maryland and D.C. licenses are preferred).
3 to 5 years of corporate law experience, including transactional, compliance work, and
contract drafting.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently on client matters.
