Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active California Bar license
  • 3 years of experience in Labor law or Employment litigation work, ideally with trial experince

Responsibilities :

  • Manage legal and litigation work for assigned cases
  • Develop case strategies, considering all relevant factors (judge, opposing counsel, etc.)
  • Submit regular, timely case status reports to claims handling

    Essential duties :

  • Drafts legal documents such as notices, discovery, affidavits, subpoenas, preparing trial exhibits, correspondence and more for review and approval by an attorney.
  • Preparation of deposition summaries for use in mediation and trial.
  • Knowledge of e-filing procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, court personnel, counsel, third parties, private investigators, medical providers, experts, etc., and maintains regular contact with all parties.
