The Lawn Care Specialist will work both independently and as part of a team, utilizing various tools and equipment to achieve optimal results.
Responsibilities
- Perform mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Conduct tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as needed.
- Assist in snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
- Implement landscape design elements, including hardscape installations.
- Dig and prepare areas for planting or installation of landscape features.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections and basic mechanical repairs.
- Communicate with clients regarding their lawn care needs and provide expert advice on maintenance practices.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain lawn care equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their safe usage in landscaping tasks.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy items and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of snow plowing techniques is a plus during winter months.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
