Lawrence County Community Action Partnership (LCCAP) seeks to fill the position of Grant Specialist I, a role within the Fiscal Department.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Performs general grant management duties for the agency, voucher processing, payroll processing, cash management activities and creating journal entries. Create, manage and report on budgets. Meet application and reporting deadlines. Computes, classifies, records and verifies accounting records.
RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.
- Calculate budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain grant budgets and related items.
- Assist in evaluating program performance and efficiency.
- Review and analyze data regularly for financial compliance.
- Prepare and review required reporting.
- Create and review drawdowns requesting funding
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or have 2 to 5 years of related experience. Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills, leadership capabilities, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software are essential.
