What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pregnant and Postpartum Women (PPW) Program Support Team position at Lawrence County Health Department?
The Pregnant and Postpartum Women (PPW) Program Support Staff will provide comprehensive support to residents, including daily living assistance, therapeutic interventions, and overall monitoring, helping individuals navigate their stay in the program and work towards their recovery goals within a structured residential environment, during evening and weekend hours.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or higher education;
- Lived experience as a consumer of mental health or substance abuse services, preferred;
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Ability to work constructively with clients, other providers and the community
- Knowledge of community resources for referral purposes
- Understanding of the Mental Health Code and Confidentiality Act
- Ability to put agency policies and procedures to practice
- Ability to interact with administration, boards, public and staff in a friendly, cooperative, confidential and professional manner at all times
