Full-time clerical position in our HIM Department to perform scanning and indexing of medical records. Ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in medical records.
Responsibilities
- Scanning and indexing documents into the correct encounter and document type.
- Maintains accuracy at an acceptable level.
- Maintains good working relationships in the department and with other departments within the facility.
- Must be courteous and respectful to patients and have good phone etiquette.
- Willing to work with others as part of a team.
Skills
- Basic computer skills
