What are the responsibilities and job description for the MT - PRN position at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital?
We are seeking a MT for PRN nights. Shift can be 8 or 12 hours.
Duties
- Performs routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory test on all type of blood and bodily fluid specimens under minimal supervision.
- Ensures accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict QC program.
- Preforms instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures according to policies and procedures.
- Maintains record and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in medical technology or 60 semester hours from an accredited university including biology and chemistry and lab experience.
- MT Certification or equivalent preferred
