Senior Controls Engineer
$150k base salary
Various locations - TX, MO, AL, KS, MD
I’m currently partnering with a US-based building materials manufacturer who are looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to support their strategic mission. The location of this position can be flexible but they’re ideally looking for someone within 50 miles of one of their 15 US locations (states include TX, MO, AL, KD, MD).
This is a new role within the organization and will be responsible for the support, development and deployment of control system software for equipment across their manufacturing processes which will include the migration of existing systems to newer platforms as well as the integration of new systems. Other responsibilities include:
- Developing PLC programs for manufacturing process control systems
- Collaborating with external systems integrators and contractors as the technical representative for the business
- Provide support, training and mentoring for users and stakeholders within the business as it pertains to the control systems
- Creating documentation for project executions, migration processes, standards and existing processes
Key Skills & Experience:
- Looking for 5-15 years experience operating as a Controls Engineering professional
- Hands-on experience developing, deploying and supporting control system software for equipment
- Controls Engineering skillset including PLCs, LadderLogic, Siemens Devices (not Allen Bradley), RSLogix 500/5000
- Ideally have experience with automating processes – big drive internally on the automation side
