What are the responsibilities and job description for the Switchboard Operator position at Lawrence Health Services?
Job Objective / Summary : The Switchboard Operator is primarily responsible for answering all incoming calls to Lawrence Healthcare switchboard, paging on the PA (public address system), calling on-call personnel upon request, and writing receipts as necessary.
Job Educations, Licenses / Certifications, Knowledge & Experience : High school diploma or GED preferred. At least three months experience as an operator of similar equipment preferred. Requires at least six months on-the-job training to attain adequate proficiency in all job duties.
