What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Layhill Animal Hospital?
This is a receptionist, part-time position. Responsibilities include answering the phone, making appointments, handling transactions, cleaning, filing, faxing, emailing, escorting pets in an out of office, and assisting all areas of the practice. We are doing curbside service. Staff is required to go outside to get information from clients, as they are not allowed in the office at this time due to COVID.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Curbside service. Clients not allowed in the office. Masks required. Face shields available. Prefer staff be vaccinated including the booster shot. Staff with symptoms stay home and get tested.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Silver Spring, MD 20906: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Veterinarians: 1 year (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (Preferred)
