Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth hotel operations. As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee front desk operations, manage guest relations, and ensure that all guests receive outstanding service during their stay.
Duties
- Supervise daily front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and guest inquiries.
- Manage and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the night audit process, ensuring accuracy in billing and reporting.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk staff to maintain high standards of customer service.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide guests with accurate information.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery for guests.
- Assist with managing reservations and room assignments using hotel management software.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures while promoting a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably at a hotel or resort.
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and phone systems is essential.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse guests.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of night audit processes is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
