Distribution Manager

Etz Hayim owns and operates the brands Cycling Frog and Lazarus Naturals, as well as a sprawling operation that spans from farming over 300 acres of hemp, extraction, chemical processing, packaging and warehousing to support both brands and private label customers.

Cycling Frog is normalizing the consumption of casual use THC products. We are on a mission to make THC convenient, affordable, and fun by making a sessionable THC beverage the same price as a beer or soda. We want to change the way THC is consumed and viewed by our society by focusing on lower potency, ready to drink beverages that can easily fit into anyone's lifestyle. Under the Federal Farm Bill it is legal to sell these low potency THC products across all 50 states via the internet, and anywhere you can grab a beer.

Summary: The Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and customer requirements. This role involves managing a diverse team, monitoring workflows, optimizing inventory control, and coordinating with sales, warehouse staff, and shipping carriers to meet delivery deadlines. The Distribution Manager will implement process improvements, resolve fulfillment discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and ensure seamless communication across departments to enhance customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness. Additionally, this position requires strong leadership to drive performance, enforce adherence to quality standards, and foster a collaborative work environment.

Job Description

• Oversee multi-brand and multi-channel fulfillment operations, ensuring SLA requirements, inventory accuracy, cost and labor efficiency
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance team with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
• Implement training programs and process optimizations to enhance operational effectiveness
• Manage workflows, troubleshoot fulfillment, product, and system issues. Deploy both immediate and long-term solutions
• Optimize carrier relationships, balancing cost control with delivery performance across LTL, FTL, and parcel shipments
• Analyze and reduce shipping and fulfillment costs through negotiations, automation, and process improvements
• Maintain vendor oversight to secure critical supplies and drive cost reduction initiatives
• Enforce rigorous quality control standards to minimize order errors, inventory discrepancies, and returns
• Support and refine cycle counting, reconciliation, and demand-based stock strategies
• Leverage Lean, Six Sigma, and analytics to enhance fulfillment speed, inventory precision, and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and shipping standards
• Develop and execute strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and logistics constraints
• Utilize WMS, TMS, and ERP systems for automation, real-time tracking, and performance reporting
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, optimize warehouse layouts, and enhance scalability
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5 years experience leading teams in high volume distribution environments
• 5 years of Lean Manufacturing or Lean Warehousing experience is highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in supply chain, business, or related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent business communication skills (oral and written); comfortable presenting to senior leadership
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel with an understanding of Excel modeling, data analysis, and reporting; macro/VBA skills are a plus
• Technical project management or involvement with technology based picking systems and automation are also a plus (Pick-to-Light, Auto-box erectors, etc.)
• Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and persuade/influence others
• Ability to work on multiple and often competing issues at the same time
• Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment, dealing with new challenges every day
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (eight or more hours per day)
• Ability to see and hear and respond to visual and auditory stimuli (physical assessment of properties and facilities, etc.); ability to grasp, reach, lift, bend, kneel, crawl, climb, push, pull, stretch
