Agile Decision Sciences, LLC (ADS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal Holding Company, is seeking an experienced Reference Librarian to support our ongoing programs at the EPA (National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory) in Ann Arbor, MI. This role is hybrid / primarily remote and in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
ADS holds a nationwide contract for library and records management services with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. ASRC librarians, records managers, and support staff collect, organize, and maintain library and records materials; assist EPA and external customers with document delivery / ILL, reference and research services, etc.
Requirements :
- Master’s degree in Library / Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution
- At least eight years of comparable experience in an academic or special library
- Experience searching using Web of Science, Lexis, and ProQuest Dialog
- Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint
- Ability to work independently in a small office environment and communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously with all patrons and staff
- Knowledge of automotive or transportation industry or transportation / air pollution regulations is a plus
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency status in order to pass a government-sponsored background investigation
- Experience with web coding and web maintenance technology and applications
- Familiarity with ALMA integrated library system
