Agile Decision Sciences, LLC (ADS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal Holding Company, is seeking an experienced Reference and Web Librarian (508 Compliance) to support our on-going programs at the EPA (National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory) in Ann Arbor, MI. This role is hybrid / primarily remote and in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
ADS holds a nationwide contract for library and records management services with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. ASRC librarians, records managers, and support staff collect, organize, and maintain library and records materials; assist EPA and external customers with document delivery / ILL, reference and research services, etc.
Requirements :
- Master’s degree in Library / Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution
- At least eight years of comparable experience in an academic or special library
- Experience formatting documents to be 508 compliant for web site
- Experience searching using Web of Science, Lexis, and ProQuest Dialog
- Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint
- Ability to work independently in a small office environment and communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously with all patrons and staff
- Knowledge of the automotive or transportation industry or transportation / air pollution regulations is a plus
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency status in order to pass a government-sponsored background investigation
- Experience with web-coding and web maintenance technology and applications
- Familiarity with ALMA integrated library system
