Operations/Warehouse Manager

Job Summary
Lazybones Laundry & Storage has been the leading, college-centered laundry & storage service in Madison, WI since 1993. We are currently hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager who would be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all laundry and storage services. Additionally, the manager would ensure efficient processes, productivity and customer satisfaction . This role involves managing a team of laundry and warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations.

Duties

• Oversee all aspects of laundry and storage operations, including daily laundry operations, and seasonal storage operations and shipping.
• Manage a team of laundry and storage staff to ensure efficient workflow, and high customer satisfaction.
• Supervise warehouse staff and provide guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes and increase productivity.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other managers, to ensure seamless integration of warehouse activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Skills

• At least one year experience in warehouse management, operations management or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written to interact with both employees and customers.
• Computer proficiency
• Effective conflict resolution skills
• Highly motivated
• Must be able to lift 30lbs

Commissions

• Subleasing commissions for storage during non-peak season-20% monthly revenue of new business

This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our operations while ensuring that we meet customer expectations through effective management practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $64,000.00 per year
