What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Foreman position at LB Foster?
Lead morning safe start meetings.
Oversee and ensure all employees are properly trained in inventory process.
Oversees daily inventory and warehouse functions, and ensure all company safety, quality and environmental policies and procedures are followed.
Maintain 5S standards.
Examine received material to verify conformance to quality standards.
Assist in shipping of production products.
Observe equipment operations and confirm all pre-shift inspections are completed.
Professionally interacts with internal and external customers.
Manager cycle count process and update ERP system as necessary.

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in an inventory or warehouse environment
Prior leadership experience, preferred
Understands 5S process
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use Microsoft applications – Excel and Word
Demonstrate ability to identify problems within a process and to develop feasible solutions
Demonstrate ability to prioritize, work efficiently, problem solve and work positively within a team.
Ability to make decisions using good judgment and discretion
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Effective records management techniques
Ability to exert up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
