Your Impact
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in processing accounts payable transactions and ensuring accuracy and completion of all transactions. Your efforts will directly contribute to our company’s success by ensuring invoices are paid timely and our supplier and vendor relationships are strong.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and organize supplier invoices and enter/apply to both material and landed cost purchase orders in ERP system.
- Create regular vouchers/memos in accounts payable module.
- Process/post all payments on a weekly basis and obtain account statements monthly from suppliers/vendors and reconcile with accounts payable.
- Enter wire transfers in the banking system.
- Manage the employee reimbursement process in online expense reporting system, Concur.
- Account reconciliation related to certain GL accounts (i.e. unvouchered, prepayments, cash, bank, etc.)
- Assist in the annual external audit.
- Other tasks that may be assigned by the Controller.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, but not required.
- Prior experience in a professional office environment preferred.
- 2-4 years’ AP experience preferred in a retail or distribution industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (Epicor P21 preferred), must have strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook.)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

- Location: Norwalk, CT flexibility for hybrid (3 days in office)
- Travel: None
