Loan Administration would like to welcome a Loan Funding Representative I responsible for data entry of indirect loan applications and funding of approved loans in the Credit Union’s Loan Origination System(s).
JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the lead of the Loan Funding & Servicing Supervisor the successful candidate will demonstrate and provide excellent service to Members, team members, and partners through professional, efficient, accurate, and knowledgeable service delivery and must also be capable of helping to resolve indirect lending issues. This assignment will include, but is not limited to:
- Opening new accounts.
- Posting member fees and general ledger transactions.
- Obtaining pertinent documentation for loan files.
- Prior to funding audits and performs necessary verification of approved indirect loan
- documentation through a variety of sources, including credit bureaus, employment verification,
- etc.
- Maintain dealer relationships by promoting new loan programs and rates.
- Under the direction of the Supervisor, may be responsible for maintaining various departmental reports.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Associate’s degree preferred, with a focus in accounting, business or finance.
- Minimum one year financial institution experience as a loan processor or similar position. Prior experience with a financial institution and/or indirect lending operations desirable.
- Experience with the use of an automated loan system preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, procedural manuals, correspondence, credit union industry rules, and regulations.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and/or interpret different types of graphs and charts.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge and use of Windows, and Microsoft Office Suite; i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel.

PAY RANGE
In accordance with California’s Pay Transparency Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:
$20.60 - $25.56
Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate’s specific qualifications, including their knowledge, skills, education and experience, internal equity consideration, as well as other job-related factors permitted by law.
