JOB STATEMENT
The Courtesy Patrol is responsible for the security and safety of company patients, staff, and facilities. This is purely a courtesy role; authorities will need to be contacted if a crime is occurring.

Job Functions
- Helps open facilities for business operations as well as securing buildings at closing time.
- Conducts surveillance of premises using monitoring equipment or physically observing.
- Conducts walking patrols of buildings, parking lots, and other areas assigned as applicable.
- Respond to any incidents that occur and take appropriate action.
- Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
- Identifies and reports security threats, unsafe conditions or hazards, and/or other emergency situations.
- Informs violators company policies and procedures (e.g., no loitering, no weapons in premises, etc.)
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Greets patients and visitors in a friendly and engaging manner.
- Controls parking traffic by directing drivers as necessary.
- Assists in maintaining the grounds, keeping them free of hazards and debris.
- Assists with company events occurring on premises (e.g., giving directions or assistance).
- Escorts patients, staff, vendors, guests, or other personnel as needed on company premises.
- Performs other tasks as required by supervision (to include custodial duties).

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Specialized Training/Certifications/Licenses:

- Fluent in Spanish, a plus

- Abilities:
- Ability to stand/walk for majority of the shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry 20 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to bend or stoop.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Other:
- Must be able to work early starting at 6:00 am, or work late closing at 7:00 p.m.
- Must be able to periodically work on Saturdays.
- Must be flexible to work extended hours on special events.
- May require some local travel between different clinic locations.
- Must be able to maintain required immunizations as required by the organization.
- Must be comfortable being exposed to poor weather conditions (e.g., rain, cold, etc.)
