We are looking for a Production Artist to work in our New Jersey location.

Position: Production Artist / Designer

Department: Art Department

Reporting Structure: Reports to Art Department Supervisor

OBJECTIVE:

The Production / Graphic Designer is responsible for setting up artwork on templates for sublimation and screen printing for production.

A successful incumbent would possess the ability to quickly learn, enjoys a challenge, works well in a team environment and can manage ever-changing tasks. This position will occasionally demand overtime in order to meet client needs.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing art files and preparing for production on Templates
• Managing art files for silkscreen – knowledge of splitting screens a plus
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
• Review, manage, and save art files for ongoing and incoming projects.
• Troubleshoot art files.
• Fill in as backup to other Art department members when needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Art; specializing in Fine Arts, Visual Communication or Digital Media Preferred: Graphic Design.
• Minimum of 3-5 years designing, developing concepts and producing web and print graphics experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Adobe CC suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop), including polishing and retouching, color recalibrating mock ups and converting image to JPEGs.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Raster Link Knowledge is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.
• High-level of customer experience focus and mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Self-motivated team player with patience and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
• Spanish speaking a plus.
