Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented acquisitions analyst to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leadership to identify, evaluate, and close new acquisition opportunities, playing a key part in executing our investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling for potential acquisitions in Excel and Argus, including cash flow projections, valuation models, and sensitivity analyses
- Contribute to the creation of business plans for new acquisitions
- Support the due diligence process, including review of leases, operating expenses, and capital expenditures
- Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations for internal decision-making and investor communications
- Support asset management efforts by providing occasional analysis on property performance and budgets
- Research and analyze market trends in current and potential new markets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a top undergraduate program in real estate, finance, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management, or investment banking
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel and Argus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a willingness to work hard and take on new challenges
