Job Description:
A Turfgrass Health Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the health and beauty of our clients' lawns by managing weed control, fertilization, and overall lawn care. The primary focus will be identifying and addressing weeds and other lawn health concerns through proper treatment, all while ensuring that lawn care practices are environmentally responsible and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weed Management: Apply herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers to control weeds and promote healthy lawn growth, and monitor the effectiveness of treatments.
- Lawn Inspections: Conduct regular lawn inspections to assess lawn health and identify weeds, pests, and diseases, and report them to your supervisor.
- Treatment Records: Maintain accurate records of treatments, including product types, quantities, and application dates.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in weed control and lawn health treatments, including sprayers and spreaders.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in lawn care, weed control, or pest management preferred.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of turfgrass health, soil science, and plant care practices preferred.
- Safety Protocols: Ability to apply herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers in a safe and effective manner.
