What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Specialist/Laborer position at Nitro-Green Professional Lawn and Tree Care?
Nitro-Green is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented team member with good communication skills that can work independently. Both year round and seasonal lawn care laborer/technician position available. Candidate should enjoy working outdoors, be reliable, and be comfortable working alone or in a team setting.
As a new employee, you would be on your own after training. Each day you will receive a route with clients who require lawn care. You will use a company vehicle and be assigned a tablet to complete these tasks. This is a great job for getting your steps in and being outdoors. Below are the main duties you would be performing:
- Fertilization and Weed Control
- Aerations
- Exterior Pest Control
- Insecticide Applications
- Assisting Certified Arborist with Tree Care
- Assisting Pasture Spray and Bare Ground Specialist with applications
During our off season our team completes installation/maintenance of Christmas lights and provides snow removal services for local business and residents. Our team also completes maintenance on machinery and vehicles to be prepared for the next season.

The business has expanded into tree spraying, pest control, noxious weed control, pasture weed control, bare ground vegetation control, pruning, sprinkler system maintenance, and snow removal; and “Christmas Décor” franchise to provide Christmas lights for your home or business.
