Essential Functions and Duties :
Assists department leadership with broad operations
Assist with planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing the department service Oversee the daily service and performance of the nutrition service employees
Provide and coordinate food services for patients, employees and visitors
Ensure adequate daily staffing, timeliness and standards of service
Maintain employee documentation, corrective action and evaluations
Train and orientate new employees
Actively participates in cafeteria, tray line, production, and dish room to ensure services are properly executed
Creativity, problem analysis and decision making
Qualifications :
Strong leadership managerial skills and experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2 years’ Food Service experience
Associated degree in Food Service or 2 years relevant experience preferred
ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification preferred
Currently certified dietary manager preferred
Ability to work varied shifts
