Consisting of land development, pre-construction and vertical construction, this team procures materials, sources trades and manages all aspects of a successful and high-functioning job site. You’ll join a talented team responsible for both urban and suburban product types, and quality offerings that include commercial, social and residential spaces.
In support of the company’s vision for growth, the Construction team at LC is seeking an experienced team member to join us in building and developing communities that serve as a catalyst for connection. In this role, you’ll manage day to day construction activities of commercial mixed use projects as assigned in accordance with approved plans, budgets and schedules.
Make an impact through these primary responsibilities:
- Manages day to day construction activities of commercial mixed use projects as assigned in accordance with approved plans, budgets and schedules.
- Coordinates daily activities with subcontractors, government officials, inspectors and consultants to ensure that all construction is in compliance with current municipal standards and guidelines and company quality standards.
- Manages field expenses throughout a project and subcontractor relationships.
- Develops site rules and regulations for vendors and subcontractors and Leads quality control efforts for field operations.
- Works closely with Project Management staff, estimators, design team and schedulers.
Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals:
- A High School Diploma is required, a college degree is preferred.
- 10 years concrete structure, multi-family, or commercial construction management experience is desired.
- Work requires strong knowledge of local and national building codes, safe construction practices, and OSHA regulations.
- Procore software experience is preferred.
- Work requires the ability to effectively communicate with participants at all levels of a development project.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment is necessary.
