Dining Experience Coordinator Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dining Experience Coordinator to join our culinary team at The Residence at Chadds Ford. As a Dining Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residents receive exceptional dining experiences. About the Role
This full-time position involves assisting with the preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals. You will work closely with our Culinary Services Director and Executive Director to ensure that all aspects of dining are met to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help maintain kitchen and food storage areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals
- Participate in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and approved menus
- Document temperatures of food prior to service, refrigeration, and freezer temperatures
- Prepare and ensure snacks and beverages are available to residents at all times
- Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-3 years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment
- Serve Safe Certification
- Ability to read and follow recipes and printed production guides, cleaning schedules, and logs
- Physical demands include lifting a minimum of fifteen (15) lbs., carrying objects, pushing and pulling carts, continuously walking, sitting, and standing, turning, crouching, kneeling, stooping, bending below waist, and reaching above shoulder height as tasks dictate
