Hi-Tech Automotive is seeking an experienced master automotive technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures, excellent diagnostic skills, and a passion for exceptional customer service.
This position requires a skilled Master Technician who can perform a wide range of automotive services including fleet vehicles (cargo vans, limousines, box trucks, mobile maintenance, etc). The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems is essential, along with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks. Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles with efficiency as outlined in the repair order.
- Diagnosing problems described and making the correct necessary repair(s).
- Road Test vehicles to diagnose and ensure repairs have been made correctly.
- Documenting work performed legibly on the repair order. While keeping accurate records of all parts used.
- Execute warranty repairs as prescribed by the manufacturer.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
- Communicate with fleet managers and other team members about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in automotive technology.
- Inspect suspension systems for wear and damage
- Previous experience as a master automotive technician or mechanic
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical systems
Technician Requirements:
- At least five years of automotive technician experience
- Full-time availability
- Eligible to work in the U.S
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Background check required
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (THC not included)
