Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The Fabricator will be responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating, assembling, and welding various metal components. Experience with various metals, operating press brake machines, and working on construction sites is preferred.
Duties:
- Aluminum, Stainless and steel welding
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products.
- Setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal; shaping metal.
- Riveting, drilling, gluing sheet metal, and other metal products.
- Set up and operation of welding machine
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
- Grind and perform various joint preparations.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures using hand tools and machinery
- Perform welding tasks to join and secure metal components
- Utilize press brake machines for bending and shaping metal
- Work on construction sites to install fabricated components such railings and stairs.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication processes
- Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery effectively
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- 4 years of TIG welding experience.
