Position Summary
The ideal candidate for the position of Portfolio Design Coordinator is an individual who enjoys building working relationships throughout different areas of the organization. This person naturally thrives in a collaborative environment. The portfolio design coordinator will dive deep into understanding the full building process for multifamily communities. This individual will be able to see physical end results for your day-to-day work and decisions through completed projects. The daily decisions will help shape and influence the designs of our affordable multifamily housing. This position will best suit an individual that has attention to detail, is process-oriented, and has an ability to excel at project management.
Relationships
The Portfolio Design Coordinator will work closely with the Portfolio Design Manager, Construction site leaders, and Asset Team members daily.

Follow-Up - Monitoring the results, assignments, or projects, considering details and requirements for business needs.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the project constraints and deadlines based on the needs of the business.
- Exhibits proficiency and personal accountability for project performance and meeting project expectations.
- Serves as a contact for senior leadership, etc., relative to critical business initiatives.
- Review development requirements for communities per state requirements.
- Ability to read development plans from construction to finish schedules.
- Work closely with vendors, construction site leaders, design firms, etc.
- Additional responsibilities/tasks within the position's purpose may be assigned. LDG Development LLC & its affiliates reserve the right to change job descriptions at any time, with or without prior notice, based on business conditions/needs.
- Utilizes a variety of communication means daily.
- Conduct administrative tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, project management, interior design, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Experience with multi-family or commercial design preferred but not required.
- 1-3 years of experience in Project Management
- Must have organizational skills and be extremely detail-oriented
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite needed: MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Knowledge of Canva is preferred.
- Ability to work in a collaborative work environment.
- Requires interpersonal and effective communication skills
- Travel requirement – up to 25% (excluding training period, will travel frequently to Austin, TX)
- Ability to work 8 am to 5 pm Monday–Friday.
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
