POSITION Associate Manager, Retail - Sales and Service

REPORTS TO General Manager

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

Leads the store team to create an exceptional experience for customers and exceed sales goals

  • Oversee and optimize staffing to ensure seamless sales operations, maintaining a strong presence as a role model in both customer engagement and sales generation.
  • Reinforce customer service principles by coaching staff on their successes and challenges.
  • Utilize Selling Essentials and training resources to continually upskill the team in product knowledge, sales techniques, and clienteling to achieve business goals.
  • Foster an inclusive, positive workplace where all associates are empowered and treated fairly and respectfully in alignment with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Ensure timely resolution of client service issues, including delivery / pick-up and outstanding issues, through effective use and management of client registry and order management tools.
  • Deliver sales an KPI targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships through ongoing personalized outreach, driving loyalty and long-term engagement.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2-3 years of previous retail management experience or management experience in a customer service or hospitality-related field.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to execute multiple tasks and appropriately manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Superior critical thinking skills to creatively identify challenges and develop action plans in a timely manner.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
  • Full-time personnel are expected to be available to meet the needs of the business.
  • Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and two closing shifts during the week (Monday to Friday).
